"Catch More Fish" Topic at Villages Meeting
If you're interested in catching more fish this year you might consider attending the Tri-County Fly Fishers January meeting. Club spokesman Ed Rapisardi says, "The Tri-County Fly Fishers meeting will be held on January 19 at the Oxford Community Building, 4027 County Road 106, Oxford, FL starting at 6:30 PM. The meeting is open and free to the public. Our speaker this month is Capt. John Kumiski, who's topic will be 'This Angler's Year.'"
Mr. Rapisardi goes on to say, "The Tri-County Fly Fishers is a Federation of Fly Fishers affiliated Club made up of about one hundred members from rank beginners to those with 50 plus years of fly fishing experience. Fishing interests range from bluegills and bass to redfish and tarpon, with an occasional rainbow trout from up north thrown in.
"Our speaker this month is John Kumiski, owner of Spotted Tail Charter Service. John has been guiding fishermen in Florida for over 20 years and in Alaska for the past four summers. His presentation will cover the changes that take place during an angler's year and how to take advantages of the fishing opportunities that the season's changing brings."
