Labor Day Report
Thank you for reading this Labor Day Report. No fishing was done by this reporter this week. None? None!

I did get to change the oil in the chariot, as well as replace a wheel stud that snapped off during the great transmission experiment. Oh, and the car did not blow up. Not yet, anyway.
For many years, Hostgator was my website host. Almost three years ago, they billed me for the next three years. The rate had doubled. I called, and there was no mistake. They said if I didn’t pay, my websites would cease to exist when my then-current contract was up.
That day came and went. My websites did not cease to exist. In the meantime, I had contracted with Hostinger to host my sites. I did backups weekly, for the day when my sites vanished.
That day happened last week, almost three years later. I’d long since stopped doing backups, and no one could read the ones I had. So I spent the week building a new Spottedtail Travel and Outdoors site.
Please check it out! It’s not complete, and I know I’m not impartial, but I think it looks great!

Something for me to aspire to…
On Friday I also read with surprise and dismay that Flip Pallot had passed. That’s a big loss to the angling world!. Wished I’d known him better!
